I can confirm for myself that Domino 8.5 runs on Windows XP, and that neither 8.5 nor Vista are certified platforms for the server

I am a 'third party' and maybe someone from IBM can report the request, that somebody will look into a unsupported way to run it. - I would second this request, was bitten by server Software not running on typical Client OS at least for demo purposes before too. Very frustrating.
